Drogheda United F. C.

In 1847, there were Great Irish Famine resulted in 1,000,000 death. Later, Ottoman Sultan Abdul Majid declared to donate 10,000 sterling, but Queen Victoria of England requested the Sultan send only 1,000 sterling, because the queen had sent only 2,000 sterling. The Sultan agreed to sent the 1,000 sterling, but also secretly sent three ships full of food arrived at Drogheda harbor. Due this generosity, the Irish, especially those in Drogheda, are friendly to the Turks. This led to the appearance symbol on Drogheda United Football club's crest. #LostIslamicHistory
